Yoga means union

I heard this weekend at a wedding that yoga means union. And just in case you're wondering what yoga has to do with a wedding I will clarify that for this amazing couple yoga meant everything. That's how they met, both wonderful souls searching for soul mate, for love and union. They encountered each other on the mat, at a yoga studio. I've been teaching for a while now and still can't believe how the yoga community brings people together, how it heals not only the body and the mind but very often the soul. Yoga is life changing, that's for sure.
